Upload Overview

Uploads represent files stored in the system, such as documents, contracts, invoices,
and other files related to property management. Each upload can be associated with
specific resources (like leasing contracts or assets) or organized in directories.

Business significance

Uploads provide document management capabilities to track important files and attachments
throughout the property management process. This includes lease agreements, rent receipts,
inspection reports, and various other documents required for legal and business purposes.

Key data types

• title: Descriptive title for the file
• description: Optional detailed description of the file
• nature: The type/category of document (rent_receipts, lease_contract, etc.)
• file_url: URL to access the actual file content
• resourceables: Associated resources linked to the upload

Lightweight responses

Each upload embeds the full JSON representation of every resource it is linked to,
which makes large listings heavy. Pass include_relations=false to omit the
resourceables key entirely and return only the upload metadata and its file_url.
